Welcome to Paradise Valley! Paradise Valley is known for luxury golf, shopping, real estate, and restaurants in a suburb of Phoenix. Containing eight full-service resorts, it makes it one of Arizona’s premier locations for travel and Arizona experiences.

Paradise Valley, initially used for cattle grazing back in the 1880s, received its name for the abundance of spring wildflowers and palo verde trees. Early settlers primarily used the land for agriculture from the 1800 1900s. After World War II, the land slowly began to be parceled off for lots ranging from one to five acres, which it is still known for today.

Paradise Valley is mainly within the Scottsdale Unified School District, though it is within several charter schools as well. Including, but not limited to, Great Hearts Academies and BASIS Schools, as well as prestigious private schools such as Phoenix Country Day School.
